10:31 AM EST - Crown Capital Partners Inc. : Announced its financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2020. Interest revenue was $7.3 million, compared with $8.0 million in Q1 2019. Total revenue increased to $6.4 million, compared with $(4.0) million in Q1 2019 due mainly to a significant decrease in the net loss on investments, from $(13.5) million in Q1 2019 to $(3.2) million in Q1 2020. Net loss of $(1.2) million (Q1 2019 – net loss of $4.0 million), or $(0.13) per common share (basic) (Q1 2019 – net loss of $0.41 per share). The net loss for the current period mainly reflects a net unrealized loss on investments of $3.6 million from reductions in the fair values of investments of Crown Partners Fund.
