In Japan, the Nikkei 225 regained 328.34 points, or 0.5%, to 65,856.43.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng eased 6.23 points, or 0.02%, to 25,511.10.
In other markets;
In Shanghai, the CSI index shed 11.09 points, or 0.2%, to 4,552.03.
In Korea, the Kospi Index recovered 45.78 points, or 0.7%, to 6,742.74.
In Singapore, the Straits Times index restocked 55.22 points, or 1%, to 5,735.68.
In Taiwan, the Taiex index replaced 407.14 points, or 0.9%, to 45,169.46
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 jumped 110.84 points, or 0.8%, to 13,992.72
In Australia, the ASX 200 gained 61.51 points, or 0.7%. to 9,164.58.
