In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng recovered 89.7 points, or 0.4%, to 24,613.27
In other markets;
In Shanghai, the CSI 300 gained 12.41 points, or 0.3%, to 4,357.88
In Taiwan, the Taiex soared 308.17 points, or 0.7%, 47,940.13.
In Singapore, the Straits Times index forked over 38.96 points, or 0.7%, to 5,675.88
In Korea, the Kospi index fell 32.77 points, or 0.5%, 6,838.04.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 restocked 150.76 points, or 1.1%, to 13,834.39.
In Australia, the ASX 200 was 80.1 points, or 0.0%, to the good at 8,789.35.
