At the market open in Toronto, the TSX Composite Index fell 0.41%. The TSX Venture and the TSX Smallcap also declined. The TSX Venture dropped 0.19%, while the Smallcap fell by 0.44%.

- MAG Silver (TSX:MAG): Increased 1.65% or 0.30 points to 18.44
- Torex Gold (TSX:TXG): Climbed 0.72% or 0.16 points to 22.23
- Bombardier Inc (TSX:BBDb): Rose 1.17% or 1.150 points to 99.350
Top Losers:
- BRP Inc (TSX:DOO): Dropped 6.82% or 6.62 points to 90.40
- Canada Goose (TSX:GOOS): Declined 3.74% or 0.62 points to 15.95
- Interfor Corp (TSX:IFP): Fell 2.68% or 0.44 points to 15.99
In Commodities Trading:
- Crude Oil for September delivery fell 1.21 points to 77.19 a barrel.
- September Brent Oil Contract is down by 1.30% or 1.07 drop to 81.33 a barrel.
- Gold Futures for August delivery rose 9.00 points to 2,403.70 a troy ounce.
Currency Markets:
- USD/CAD cruises at 1.37 with a daily range of 1.3752-1.3773.
- EUR/CAD is stable at 1.49.
- The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 104.247.
