(OTCQB: ZMTP) announced today that cable industry veteran Barry Hardek has joined the organization in the newly created role of Service Provider Sales Director. Mr. Hardek has a wealth of experience in successfully bringing broadband technology solutions to market. Most recently, he was Managing Director of SmartRG's cable modem business. Prior to SmartRG, Mr. Hardek has held senior sales positions at Worldwide Supply, SMC, and Ubee Interactive.

Zoom Telephonics has an exclusive 5-year license, starting January 2016, to the Motorola brand for cable modems, cable gateways, consumer WiFi routers, WiFi range extenders, home powerline network adapters, and some related products. The company has experienced a significant increase in sales, primarily due to sale of Motorola brand products.
Both modems and gateways are designed for high performance, aesthetic appeal, resistance to power surges, and ease of use by consumers and cable operators. Two of the new Motorola cable gateways include distinctive features that provide superior Wi-Fi performance. Zoom's Motorola branded products are service provider-ready, with CableLabs® certification and additional testing and certifications from the leading cable operators.
