The Nikkei 225 regained 107.23 points, or 0.2%, to 69,468.11
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng index restocked 354.82 points, or 1.6%, to 23,026.68.

In Shanghai, the CSI index recovered 58.7 points, or 1.2%, to 4,926.82.
In Korea, the Kospi index lost 16.56 points, or 0.2%, to 8,394.65.
In Singapore, the Straits Times 50 index climbed 17.02 points, or 0.3%, to 5,208.75
The Taiex index in Taiwan jumped 428.14 points, or 1%, to 44,999.90.
In New Zealand, the NZX 50 gained 50.32 points, or 0.4%, to 13,545.56.
In Australia, the ASX added 59.18 points, or 0.7%, to 8,823.37.
