Canadian National Railway (TSX:CNR) has shut down its freight service in British Columbia leading to the Port of Vancouver because of heavy rain and flooding.
The Montreal-based railway says it decided to "proactively close its network" because rain was causing increased debris, washouts, and landslide activity.
CN Rail says northbound and eastbound traffic to and from the City of Vancouver are still affected by the flooding and rain.
