Tuesday Morning's Biggest Moving Stocks

The financial news outlets will bask in the Dow’s rise of over 100 points on Monday. The Dow closed above 38,000 for the first time. To capitalize on the market’s fear of missing out, track the companies posting fourth-quarter results this week.

Follow electric car leader Tesla (TSLA) today. On Wednesday, the firm will give shareholder details on price cuts this year, the production pause at its Berlin factory, comments on falling battery costs, and customer interest in its latest Cyber truck.

Investors are keen on Tesla posting profit margin resiliency despite price cuts. Last year, it cut its Model Y price by up to 26.5%. Today, customers face higher borrowing costs. They also lose the $7,500 tax credit due to its battery sourcing.

Tech investors will watch for profit-taking warnings on the Magnificent 7. So far, Apple (AAPL) trading remains very strong, even with reports of weak iPhone sales in China and functions removed from the Watch to avoid its patent infringement.

Firms posting results this week include AT&T (T), D.R. Horton (DHI), a residential construction firm, energy giant Halliburton (HAL), and Procter & Gamble (PG).

Last night, United Airlines (UAL) gained 5.9% after posting revenue growing by 16% in Q4. It increased its capacity by 14.7%. Besides one of the biggest moving stocks this morning, watch UAL stock lift Delta Airlines (DAL) and Boeing (BA).
