YDreams Global Technologies Inc. (TSX-Venture:YD), a leading designer and developer of augmented and virtual reality experiences, and Studio 41B, an immersive creative design studio, today announced that the two companies will collaborate on integrating and distributing a turnkey free-roam, room scale multi-user interactive VR experience for leading family entertainment centers (FECs) and VR arcade centres.
Leading fabrication and design firm Studio 41B boasts among its clients Walt Disney World, Legoland Florida, Marriott Hotels, PepsiCo, Rainforest Cafe, and Seattle's Best Coffee, among others. The partnership with YDreams marks Studio 41B's first major foray into the VR market.
According to CEO Daniel Japiassu, "Together with Studio 41B, we can reach a wider range of venues with innovative design implementations to serve the largest number of VR consumers who want to experience the latest in immersive entertainment."
One research firm says the VR arcade market is projected as a $45 billion market by 2025.
