Electric Motorcycle Maker To Begin Taking Pre-Orders

When one thinks of Electric Vehicles (EVs), companies like Tesla and NIO probably come to mind. In general, we automatically assume we’re talking about electric cars that are available to the general public. This company has taken an interesting spin on EVs recently, however, by creating an electric motorcycle.

Today Alternet Systems, Inc. (OTC-PNK:ALYI) announced its plans to start taking orders for its Retro ReVolt BMW R71 Clone Electric Motorcycle starting in December. This specific bike will be available in North America only, and will be available both as a complete unit or as a kit that can be assembled on the buyers own BMW R71 frame.

Traders seemed to be pretty excited by the news as shares traded up to $.0109/share (+8.45%) in early trade. This move is attempting to break the stock out of a month-long trading range it has contained in.
