Lithium Company Commences Operations

An Ontario-based Lithium company announced the commencement of min-pilot plant operations at their research and development centre in Falconbridge, ON and at other off-site locations. Frontier Lithium Inc. (OTC-PNK:LITOF) (TSX-V:FL) announced that the overall goal of the pilot is to directly produce lithium hydroxide from the PAK Lithium Project Resource, with contains Ontario’s highest grade and largest lithium resource.

Frontier Lithium is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mining properties. It has a land position on the Electric Avenue, Ontario's newly emerging premium lithium-metal district hosted in the Canadian Shield of northwestern Ontario. The company project includes PAK Lithium Project encompasses approximately 26,774 hectares located 175 kilometers north of Red Lake in northwestern Ontario.

Shares popped following the news, trading up to $0.47/share (+17.5%) on the TSX-Venture Exchange and up to $0.3905/share (+23.7%) over the counter. This move comes as the overall Lithium industry has been getting more and more attention due to their affiliation with Electric Vehicles (EVs) among other uses.
