Macy’s to Work with On 34th Designer

Macy’s (NYSE:M) shares jumped Wednesday, on announcing its latest designer collaboration with its On 34th brand, designed with Emmy Award–winning costume designer, Molly Rogers.

Renowned for dressing iconic New York City characters across film and television, including “Sex and the City,” “The Devil Wears Prada,” “Ugly Betty,” “And Just Like That ...” and, most recently, “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” Rogers brings her expertise in blending fashion and entertainment to this collection. The On 34th & Molly Rogers collection reimagines Rogers’ most memorable looks throughout her career, with each piece featuring signature details like unexpected prints, layered scarves, graphics, color blocking and other hidden treasures. The collection is now available at select Macy’s stores, on Macys.com and through the Macy’s app.

“Molly’s distinctive storytelling seamlessly complements Macy’s energetic take on fashion,” shared Emily Erusha-Hilleque, senior vice president of Private Brands for Macy's.

“Inspired by the dynamic pulse of New York City - its people, neighborhoods and the unique characters that fill its streets - Molly’s creative vision shines through every aspect of this collection. Each piece designed for On 34th reflects Macy’s signature blend of originality and versatile style, capturing the spirit and confidence that our customers embody.”

M shares began Wednesday up 79 cents, or 4.1%, to $20.08.
