Nvidia’s Sales And Profit Double In Latest Quarter

its sales and profit each doubled from a year earlier.

The technology company announced earnings per share (EPS) of $2.22 U.S., which topped the $2.10 U.S. that had been forecast on Wall Street.

Revenue in the spring quarter totaled $96.22 billion U.S., which was ahead of the consensus estimate among analysts of $92.17 billion U.S.

Nvidia’s profit of $2.22 U.S. was more than double the earnings of $1.05 U.S per share that the company posted a year ago.

Similarly, the company’s latest sales of $96.22 billion U.S. were more than double the $46.70 billion U.S. in revenue reported in the same quarter of 2025.

Looking ahead, management at Nvidia forecast 70% revenue growth for the company next year. That far exceeds the 44% revenue growth that Wall Street had forecast.

On an earnings call with analysts and media, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said demand “is much greater than 70%,” but the company is constrained by the amount of product it can supply.

Nvidia continues to maintain a near monopoly over the most advanced artificial intelligence (A.I.) microchips and processors and is benefitting from huge global demand for its products.

The company also said that its revenue base is diversifying beyond the largest technology companies such as Microsoft (MSFT) and Alphabet (GOOGL).

Nvidia’s AI cloud, industrial, and enterprise customers accounted for $40.3 billion U.S. of its sales in the latest quarter, up 138% year-over-year.

The latest financial results appear to have calmed investors nervous about a bubble forming in the A.I. sector and the huge amounts of capital being spent on the technology.

Nvidia’s stock was up 6% in after hours trading following the latest earnings report. Going into the print, NVDA stock had risen 15% over the last 12 months to trade at $209.66 U.S. a share.
