Tapinator Partners with Cheetah Mobile for Worldwide Distribution of Solitaire Dash

Multi-platform mobile game developer Tapinator (OTCQB:TAPM) said Monday morning that it has partnered with Cheetah Mobile (NYSE:CMCM) for Tapinator's Solitaire Dash mobile game. Based in Beijing, Cheetah Mobile sports a $1.2-billion market capitalization. That compares to Tapinator's $4.3 million. Per the four-year agreement, Cheetah is the exclusive worldwide distributor for all mobile versions of the game.

Originally launched in 2017, Solitaire Dash is a horse racing-themed tri-peaks solitaire game that recently underwent a substantial upgrade into version 2.0. This revamp resulted in a map featuring 324 unique levels across 18 racetracks where players can increase earnings potential and in-game rewards.

In the words of Tapinator, "Solitaire Dash 2.0 now combines the proven systems of top grossing card games with its own unique features to create a best-in-class solitaire product."

Cheetah, which was formed eight years ago via the merger of Kingsoft Security and Conew Image, has attracted approximately 600 million global MAUs in more than 200 countries and regions, with nearly three-quarters of them located outside of China.

"We really looking forward to working with Tapinator to optimize and localize the game in order to deliver a unique game experience to our users worldwide," said Cheetah Games producer Keith Huan in today's news.

Shares of TAPM are trying to halt was has been a protracted fall from 72 cents in January to as low as 6.5 cents this month. The stock has eked up 5.9% to 7.2 cents with only minutes left in the trading day.

Shares of CMCM, which has also been brutalized since their high of $18.18 in January, hit their lowest level since last October in intraday trading today. As the day winds down, shares have rebounded, but still have given up seven cents to $8.33.
