More from the cannabis front: New York-based HempAmericana Inc. (OTC:HMPQ) saw its shares go zooming shortly before Monday’s close, on news it has commenced bottling 500mg and 1000mg full spectrum CBD distillate in its Augusta, Maine laboratory.
First, says the company, there will be a rollout of 2,000 bottles per day with a gradual increase to 8,000 bottles per day to fill demand. The CBD distillate will be distributed under HMPQ’s proprietary brand, “Weed Got Oil”.
CEO Salvador Rosillo states: "After so many struggles, we have been able to prevail and we are now officially in production of this incredible product. We are a real company, bootstrapping operations and our laboratory features extraction equipment including a supercritical C2 extraction machine. We look forward to providing (consumers) with several updates over the coming weeks."
And what an incredible price hike to which its investors were treated: in the last hour of trading, HMPQ soared 48-100ths of a cent, or 76.4%, to 1.11 cents, on volume of 93.8 million shares.
