Shares in Somerset, New Jersey-based Global Fiber Technologies’ (OTC: GFTX) climbed the charts Thursday, when one of its subsidiaries did some business. GTFX’s arm known as EcoTek 360, Inc. revealed a "Development Agreement" with Regent Apparel to advance the creation of a sustainable line of corporate uniforms.
Global CEO Chris Giordano stated, “Both companies (share) the same common goal: to keep textile waste out of the landfills and incinerators.”
Global harbors the opinion that EcoTek 360 has developed the way to resolve the problems of textile landfill waste with its proprietary mechanical and eco-friendly process for the corporate uniform market. It points to the 100-year history of Regent Apparel, making it a “great partner” with which to develop that veneue.
Shares in Global Fiber took on two 100ths of a cent, or 33.3%, to eight 100ths of a cent early Thursday afternoon, on volume of 1.4 million shares
