Apple CEO Tim Cook Earned $125 Million U.S. In 2019

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook is doing okay financially.

According to company documents, Cook earned $125 million U.S. in the company’s 2019 fiscal year. This was less than Cook made in 2018 due to a lower bonus.

In 2019, Tim Cook received a $3-million U.S. salary, a $7.7 million U.S. bonus and $884,466 U.S. in perks and other compensation. The top executive at Apple also had $113.5 million U.S. worth of Apple stock vest last year.

That $125 million U.S. in total compensation was lower than the $136 million U.S. that Cook made in 2018. In fiscal 2018, he got a $12-million U.S. bonus, his largest ever. That bonus shrank in 2019 because Apple didn’t beat its sales and operating income targets by as much as the previous year.

Tim Cook still holds unvested Apple shares worth almost $400 million U.S., according to Apple’s financial filing.
