International Transactions in Securities (Dec.) Foreign investors acquired $11.8 billion of Canadian securities in November, largely purchases of federal government debt securities. At the same time, Canadian investors increased their holdings of foreign securities by $7.6 billion, led by acquisitions of U.S. shares.
